Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least one year of CT experience and current ARRT and BLS certification for an evening and swing shift assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a computed tomography (CT) department
  • Adult patient population
  • Performs a variety of CT procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes
  • Shifts include evening and swing shifts, with some weekends and holidays required
  • Uses the EPIC EMR system for charting and documentation
  • Responsibilities include performing exams per department protocol, contrast administration, infection control, and patient education
  • Candidates should be proficient in operation of CT equipment, contrast injectors, and electronic imaging systems
  • Must be familiar with cross sectional anatomy and radiation safety protocols (ALARA)
  • Expectations include thorough and accurate completion of clinical documentation and participation in departmental quality control programs
  • First-time travelers will be considered

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent CT experience required
  • Current ARRT certification and Utah State license if applicable
  • Active AHA BLS certification required and must not expire during assignment
  • Demonstrated IV certification competency within three months of hire
  • Must complete controlled substance and moderate sedation modules within six months of hire where applicable
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including hearing, lifting, manual dexterity, vision, and standing for long periods
  • License required if applicable
