ENGEO Is hiring Soils and Concrete Inspectors!

Position Overview :

With ACI Concrete Field Grade I, and ICC RC and PT certifications, you will perform field duties which include reinforcing steel inspection, concrete placement inspection, and concrete sampling at various project sites for structures and walls.

Additional inspection services, with applicable certifications, include post-tensioned inspections, post-installed anchor inspections, masonry inspections, high-strength bolting, and welding inspections.

Must use a laptop computer to provide written documentation of test results and observations daily. We are looking for a team player with good communication skills and drive to meet client needs!

Candidate Criteria : Candidates must be drug-free, have a good driving record, have excellent communication / writing skills, and be able to physically transport 50 lbs.

Requirements :

Required Experience :

Required Education :

High School / GED required

Required License / Certification :

  • ACI Field Grade Testing 1 Certification
  • ICC Reinforced Concrete Certification
  • ICC Post Tension Concrete Certification
  • Valid Driver’s License Certification

Other Education / Certifications preferred :

  • Additional ICC certifications and AWS / CWI a plus
  • College or military veterans preferred

Experience :

T&O Construction or related field experience preferred.

Skills :

  • Proactive, problem solver, a proven track record of dependability
  • Keen attention to detail, and well-developed interpersonal skills (to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, city agents, project managers locally and in other regional offices)
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and diverse environment
  • Can work and succeed as a team also while being resourceful when working alone in the field
  • Enjoy learning and sharing knowledge with others for the success of the company.
  • Must have a good understanding of the construction industry.
  • Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook computer applications.
