Phlebotomist
Job Description
Seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to perform blood draws, label specimens, and manage specimen storage and transportation according to established procedures.
This role involves explaining the venipuncture process to patients, adhering to safety regulations, and handling various administrative duties such as updating patient information and answering calls.
The successful candidate will ensure the integrity of specimens by matching requisition forms to specimen tubes, properly labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing specimens as necessary.
Hard Skills
- Experience in hard sticks
- Proficiency with straight needles
- Proficiency with butterfly needles
- Ability to operate centrifuge and process specimens

- Ability to communicate clearly and courteously

- Capability to handle high volume and fast-paced work environment
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Hialeah, Florida. This role will require travel up to Port St Lucie, FL. No overnight travel is expected / required.
Work Environment
The Phlebotomist will work in Patient Service Centers (PSCs) and In-office Phlebotomy setups (IOPs) with varying daily volumes.
Responsibilities include front-end patient interaction and back area processing. The role requires flexibility to adapt to schedule changes, cover multiple locations, and potentially substitute for call-outs with late Sunday evening schedule notifications.
