About us

Seattle Early Learning Center is a family of WA state DCYF licensed preschools. We are locally owned and operated, where owners are available on a daily basis.

We are hiring an experienced Director for our licensed Preschool located in North Admiral of West Seattle. You must have a minimum of 47 ECE credits and a minimum of 5 years experience of Directing or Supervising licensed Preschools in WA state - No exception .

The job entails managing a Preschool in Admiral area of West Seattle (98116), where the Director will communicate and coordinate daily operations with the Area Manager or CEO.

The work is not remote. Our preschool is open between 7 : 30am and 5 : 30pm. The Preschool has between 35 and 65 kids, pending on location and attendance.

The preschool is well established and fully staffed. The position is a full-time job.

Minimum requirement, please carefully read :

• 47 Early Childhood Education ( ECE ) credits, or a completed Bachelor ECE degree as registered with MERIT. (Only MERIT can determine how many ECE credits you have).
• Minimum five years of licensed preschool work
• Merit account and portable background check
• DCYF certificates & orientation
• WA state approved first-aid and CPR for children and adult certification
• TB test by the Mantoux method
• Food handler card
• HIV / AIDS / Blood borne pathogen training certification
• MMR vaccine
