SUMMARY OF POSITION
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. May focus on health promotion and disease prevention.
May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe. Works in an inpatient critical care area.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :
Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.
- Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required.
- Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
- BLS certification required.
