Youth Villages is a nonprofit organization striving to help troubled youth and families live successfully. We are a team of about 5,000 across 29 states providing counseling and treatment services to youth with emotional and behavioral challenges. Responsibilities

• Provide in-home counseling services for at-risk youth and families.
• Manage a small caseload of 4-6 families to deliver quality counseling.
• Meet with youth and families three times weekly to address each family's needs.
• Provide after-hours support to youth and families using a rotating on-call schedule.
• Collaborate with youth, family members, teachers, and other community members to support youth success (may include court appearances or meetings with teachers as needed).
• Apply a strengths-based approach using counseling and social work skills.
• Attend three weekly meetings (individual, team, and clinical consultation) for professional development to enhance clinical skills.

Benefits

Salary

$48,000 - $55,000 per year, based on education and clinical license.

Schedule and Other Details

Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based around the availability of youth and families served. Applicants must have a valid driver's license, a personal vehicle for work purposes, and auto insurance. Community-based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage.

How to be Considered

You may be considered for this position if you meet the following qualifications : a related bachelor's degree is required (master's preferred); experience with at-risk youth and / or families; willingness to work an untraditional schedule.
