Job Title : L ab Technician
Reports to : Vice President of Titan Laboratories
Primary Responsibilities :
- Responsible for daily testing of samples in a timely manner and in accordance with established procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining calibration schedules.
- Report any problems and works with Vice President including, but not limited to :
- Non-conforming work
- Working condition of lab equipment
- Scheduling conflicts
- Responsible for weekly / Monthly lab consumable inventory
- Responsible for lab technician work rotation
- Responsible for safe handling of all lab equipment and supplies
- Responsible for proper mixing of chemicals as needed.
- Contribute to a supportive and diplomatic work environment.
- Responsible for recording of lab results as needed.
- Responsible for daily emptying of oil and / or chemical waste.
- Responsible for maintaining lab in a clean and professional manner.
General Responsibilities :
Assist with any special projects as needed.
Education / Experience Requirements :
G.E.D or equivalent. Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift up to 30 lbs. Previous lab experience is a plus.
