Position : LPN – Rehab (Med / Surg)

Location : Chesterfield, MO

Shift : 3x12 hour Day Shifts (6 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Schedule : Every other weekend required

Assignment Duration : ASAP start – February 2, 2026

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the rehab team. The hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of registered nurses.

Support patients with activities of daily living, including mobility, hygiene, and personal care.

Assist with rehabilitation activities, including range of motion exercises, transfers, and use of assistive devices.

Monitor patients’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial status and report changes to supervising staff.

Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient recovery.

Qualifications :

Licensure : Active LPN license in the state of Missouri

Certifications : BLS (CPR) required

Experience : Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in rehab or med / surg settings

Skills : Flexible, collaborative, and positive demeanor; comfortable working with adult patients (18+ years)

Float Requirements : Must float within hospital units (Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury)
