AP Associate
A growing Consumer Goods organization is in need of an AP Associate . The Accounts Payable Associate will work in a team environment and support all aspects of accounts payable processing and payment.
Responsibilities :
- Review and process a high volume of vendor invoices for multiple locations within SAP utilizing Esker software.
- Responsible for month end tasks (Month-End AP Accruals, AP Aging, AP Clearing, Etc.)
- Process T&E in SAP through Concur.
- Process employee expense reports and customer refunds on a weekly basis.
- Work with functional departments and vendors in a professional manner to resolve and research AP issues.
- Assist with reconciliation of sub-ledgers to General ledger including monthly review and reconciliation of vendor accounts including Fixed Assets / Capex.
- Initiates Check Runs ensuring the timely & accurate payment of invoices via ACH, wires and checks.
- Work with the online banking platforms to verify cash balances, set up wire templates and request checks.
- Prepare annual 1099 reports working with suppliers to ensure accurate reporting to the IRS.
- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately & timely, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant AP processing experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a high volume environment.
- Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills :
- Working knowledge of SAP & Concur.
- Retail / CPG industry experience.
Compensation : $30-$35 / Hour
