We are inviting applications for the role of a Staff Accountant for client that offers a hybrid schedule. The position is based in Honolulu, Hawaii.
As a Staff Accountant, you will be instrumental in managing and analyzing financial statements, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and special projects.

Responsibilities :
- Effectively manage and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently
- Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Oversee job costing procedures to ensure proper allocation of costs
- Manage payroll procedures to ensure timely and accurate disbursement
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting to help forecast future financial needs
- Utilize strong communication skills to handle any financial inquiries and provide accurate information
- Maintain a detailed understanding of the company's financial operations and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve company financial goals
- Adhere to all company policies, rules, and regulations to maintain compliance.
- Proficiency in Financial Statement Preparation
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Solid understanding of Account Reconciliation
- Background in Budgeting processes
- Experience in Budgeting - Forecasting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
