Key Responsibilities :
- Develop conceptual designs or modify existing designs to meet customer's requirements.
- Create system level architecture.
- Complete layout of machine through detail of all components
- Manage the progress of projects relative to established plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Make recommendations for design direction.
- Lead teams and influence project direction and progress.
- Assist with the successful management of assigned projects as they relate to cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage several on-going projects concurrently.
- Assist in developing the Mechanical Engineering department through leadership, experience, encouragement, and mentorship.
Qualifications :
- Experienced with design software like Inventor (preferred), SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Able to apply both an analytical perspective and practical understanding to solve design challenges using a systematic engineering approach.
- Experience with simulation tools (stress, dynamic analysis).
- Good working knowledge of designing in Inventor and AutoCAD design tools.
- Knowledge of automation products, services, and the industry.
- Capable of creating machine designs with complex assemblies and subassemblies utilizing parametric design methodology.
- Strong understanding of thermal, structural, and dynamic designs.
- Working knowledge and development of process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Strategic thinking.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Effective time management and organizational skills.
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of related experience
