Senior Accountant

A retail company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team!

Responsibilities :

• Review expenses and ensure they are accurately categorized, reallocating if necessary to the appropriate department.
• Perform reconciliation tasks, meticulously matching budget projectionsand updating workbooks accordingly.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including debit / credit transactions and pivot table analysis.
• Utilize your expertise in reconciliation processes, ensuring alignment with revenue and expense benchmarks.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Proven experience in reconciliation processes, preferably within a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in basic accounting principles, with a keen understanding of debits, credits, and financial reporting.
• Ability to navigate pivot tables and transfer data effectively between financial documents.
• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating financial discrepancies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
