Job Description
Strategic Planning : Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to support business goals and objectives.
Analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and production capacities to optimize supply chain performance.
Inventory Management : Oversee inventory planning and control to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
Implement inventory management best practices and technologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Production Planning : Lead the production planning process to ensure timely and cost-effective production schedules.Collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams to balance demand and supply.
Supplier Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of supply chain planners, analysts, and coordinators.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development within the team.
Performance Metrics : Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance.Implement corrective actions and improvement plans as needed to achieve targets.
Risk Management : Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, capacity constraints, and quality issues.
Develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
Technology and Innovation : Leverage advanced supply chain technologies and tools to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the supply chain function.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing supply chain strategies in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and advanced planning systems.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ability to travel as needed.
What's on Offer
Target compensation for the Director of Supply Chain Planning is $150,000 - $180,000 + Bonus.
