Job Description : The Quality Control Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the quality of our flooring products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for inspecting materials, processes, and final products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct regular inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
- Identify and document quality issues and work with production teams to resolve them.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality defects.
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformances.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control processes and suggest improvements.
- Train production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to flooring products.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the flooring or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ CQE) is a plus.
