Flooring Construction Quality Control Specialist

Job Description : The Quality Control Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the quality of our flooring products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for inspecting materials, processes, and final products to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct regular inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
• Identify and document quality issues and work with production teams to resolve them.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality defects.
• Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and non-conformances.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control processes and suggest improvements.
• Train production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to flooring products.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the flooring or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ CQE) is a plus.
