About The Position We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, with a 36-day contract and offers a flexible schedule of day shifts from Monday through Sunday, 8am to 8pm. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of urgent care experience or 1 year of emergency medicine experience, and be comfortable treating patients of all ages. Job Details Location : Pennsylvania Start Date : Jan 5, 2026 LOA : 36 days Provider Type Needed : Urgent Care Physician Assistant Schedule : Monday-Sunday, 8am-8pm; minimum 6 shifts per month required for part-time, 12 shifts for full-time Responsibilities and Duties Evaluate and treat patients with cold and flu symptoms, rashes, lacerations, abrasions, sprains, and minor burns Perform wound care and orthopedic procedures such as splinting Refer high-acuity cases to the emergency department as appropriate Provide care to patients across all age groups Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR Consistently meet minimum shift requirements Additional Information Must hold an active Pennsylvania state license and valid DEA registration ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required CSR license required Board certification required Must pass a drug screen and background check completed within the last 12 months Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
