This position leads the delivery of consumer loan products, overseeing the origination and processing teams. The role focuses on optimizing workflows to enhance the member experience and meet production targets for consumer loans and ancillary products.
Strong leadership skills are required to train and guide team members while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities include utilizing data analytics for reporting, achieving service level agreements (SLAs), and driving team performance and member satisfaction.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Manage and lead the origination and processing teams.
- Ensure a seamless and positive experience for members by reducing application turnaround times and maintaining clear communication channels.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline loan origination and processing workflows.
- Develop and implement procedures for loan originations, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure loan delivery complies with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Utilize data analytics for performance reporting and decision-making.
- Achieve and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) to enhance team performance and member satisfaction.
Compensation :
The annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
Minimum Requirements :
Minimum Education : High school or equivalent
Minimum Experience : 5 years at a financial institution, interpreting and applying pertinent policies, procedures, regulations, and requirements
Minimum Skills : Knowledge of credit union service standards and loan operations, as well as all relevant local, state, and federal regulations governing financial institutions.
Experience in a management or leadership role. Written and oral communication skills, able to provide both detailed information and summaries to relevant stakeholders.
Preferred Education : Bachelor's degree
Preferred Skills : Experience in a management role at a financial institution. Knowledge of human resources processes, and experience interviewing, mediating, and teaching / training staff.
Written and oral fluency in Spanish and / or other foreign languages. Experience with social media and multi-platform communications and marketing plans.
