Responsibilities :
- Manage the daily U.S. cash pool position and arrange short-term investments and financing.
- Facilitate with the Corporate Treasury team in Germany and the Freudenberg business groups in North America to provide enhanced cash forecasting, determine excess operating cash and recommend investment strategies aligned with the company's investment policy.
- Manage centralized security administration for online banking systems.
- Oversee day-to-day banking activities with core banks in North America, including monitoring service fees and conditions on behalf of Freudenberg entities.
- Facilitate intercompany loans, primarily for Canadian and Mexican subsidiaries, ensuring that the loan structures, documentation and withholding tax are compliant with local tax regulations.
- Facilitate renewal of bank credit facilities for Canadian and Mexican subsidiaries and ensure compliance with stated risk management policy.
- Manage issuance of Corporate and Bank Guarantees in the region and manage Surety Bond Program for North America.
- Serve as central contact for North American Business Groups for all insurance related issues and manage local insurance activities, to include annual renewal of North American insurance programs
- Design and continuously optimize the local North American insurance solutions and insurance structure with support from local insurance broker and Corporate Insurance
- Support M&A due diligence activities, including integration of new entities with regard to the treasury and risk management / insurance function.
- Facilitate strategic discussions with key service providers in banking and insurance to support discussions with Corporate Functions, e.g. Legal.
- Coordinate activities related to the self-insured Status in 4 states (GA, IN, NH and OH).
- Prepare insurance premium allocations and oversee billing activities.
- Provide support for insurance claim resolution primarily in areas of : General and Product Liability, Workers Compensation, Auto Liability;
participate in and organize loss control activities with local insurance brokers and carriers.

Qualifications :
- 5+ years of relevant treasury and risk management experience, including experience with cash pooling structures and insurance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA, CPA or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred.
- Candidates must be detail oriented and have a high energy level with the ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Must be an excellent communicator (oral and written) with strong organizational and problem-solving skills and service-oriented to both internal and external customers on short notice.
- Ability to travel to Freudenberg sites across North America and Germany, up to 15%.
- Individual must be highly motivated and capable of identifying and driving long-term treasury and risk management strategies.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, including external business partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of treasury workstations, familiarity with JPMorgan ACCESS preferred.
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing companies preferred.
