Position Summary :

The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and profitably. The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications and the ability to perform the essential duties detailed below.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities :

• Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with Operations.
• Ensure accurate inventory tracking.
• Ensure materials are stacked and on display
• Completes all required management reports to include quarterly inventory reports.
• Ensure forklift is properly maintained and operated by warehouse staff.
• Ensuring quality control is maintained within the warehouse.
• Responsible for training new warehouse employees
• Ensures warehouse staff compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Ensure good customer service is provided to all customers and assisting all homeowners with their requirements.

Required Skills / Abilities :

• Forklift experience a minimum of 15 years. Preferable experience in Stone Industry.
• Have Warehouse experience and stone industry experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Must be a team player, and lead by example.

Education and Experience :

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 7-10 years of related experience working in similar industry; additional education may be substituted for years of work experience

The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to-75 pounds sN2 Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
