About the Role
The Company is seeking a Director of Content to lead the development and execution of a robust content strategy that is in line with the business's goals.
The successful candidate will be tasked with driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth through the creation of compelling content, with a strong focus on YouTube and other digital platforms.
Key responsibilities for the Director of Content include content strategy development, identifying engaging content themes, managing a YouTube channel, leading a team of content creators, and ensuring all content meets brand guidelines.
The role also involves performance analysis, optimization, and close collaboration with marketing, product, and customer service teams.
Applicants for the Director of Content position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, with an advanced degree being preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in content creation and strategy, particularly in the DTC eCommerce and YouTube space, is required.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing successful YouTube channels, excellent storytelling, writing, and editing abilities, as well as proficiency in video production and editing software.
An analytical mindset, strong project management skills, and a passion for creativity and digital content trends are also essential for this role.
