is seeking a part-time Writer Assistant that has a passion for reading, writing and media production. You will have the opportunity to work as Arturo’s right hand in multiple projects.

These include authoring books, illustrated books, production of audio-visual content, documentary making, upkeep of online media channels, production of other writers’ content (including scientists and storytellers), writing scripts, and entrepreneurship.

Main Responsibilities

Writer’s Assistant

General supervision of task lists.

Formalize / Reorganize story ideas.

Editing, revising and proofreads. Formalize letters.

General organization / management of notes for various projects. Understanding data structures for notes.

Writer

Write stories or essays.

Formalize business plans. Develop business plans from scattered, raw ideas.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

2+ years working with writing is a plus but not necessary.

Scribe

Scribe

Transcribe voice memos and highlights of readings.

Researcher

Research assignments.

Read, highlight, summarize and outline.

Administrative Duties

Strong organizational skills.

Scheduling periodic business network encounters.

Ability to build internal & external relationships with authors, agents, and other stakeholders.

Motivated, eager to learn, and resourceful, with the ability to solve problems creatively and proactively.

Technology savvy and familiar with software that archives and creates notes, social media, etc.

2+ years of Executive Assistant is a plus but not necessary.

Social Media Content Producer

Design content’s release-schedule.

Design posts for social media using our literary and audio-visual assets.

Audiovisual Content Producer

Work on video / audio productions.

Assist in directing and managing artists to achieve production goals.

Minimum Requirements

Ability to maintain utmost discretion and confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Fully bilingual : English and Spanish.
