Job Summary : As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will perform clinical laboratory analyses and examinations to assist in physician diagnosis and treatment.
This includes accurately conducting testing, interpreting results, and communicating with medical personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct accurate and timely testing
- Interpret and communicate test results
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities
- Prepare reagents and maintain inventory
- Meet regulatory lab requirements
- Teach in the School of Medical Technology and Lab rotations as needed
- Additional duties as requested
Qualifications :
- BS in Medical Technology or related Science
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or Limited Permit
- Certification by ASCP preferred
- Previous experience in a Clinical or Pathology Laboratory (beneficial)
Physical Requirements : Medium Work with frequent walking, standing, or squatting
Salary : $26.50 - $42.00 per hour
