Job Title : Customer Service Representative

Location : Bridgeton, MO 63044

Duration : 6 months with potential to extend or hire

Position Type : Hourly contract Position (W2 only)

NOTE :

  • Schedule / Remote Flexibility : hybrid schedule of one week in office, one week at home. The schedule for this is provided in advance.
  • Hours Per Week : 40 with potential for OT
  • Education And Experience Requirement : high school diploma and 2+ years customer service experience
  • Interview Process : phone screen with hiring manager, panel interview (preferably in person)
  • Preferred Interview Times : flexible during work hours of 8am-5pm M-F
  • Team Size : This team has 6 team members with similar roles. There are two other teams that work closely with this group for a total of about 25 employees plus our management team.

PURPOSE / MISSION OF TEAM :

  • This team is seeing the most growth overall at Client. There has been much opportunity for growth and advancement in past. That is the reason this position is open (someone was promoted to another team). If the person selected is hired full time they are also eligible for an annual bonus (eligibility effective at the start date of their full time employment).
  • Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for OEM warranties, AM warranties, and freight claims, and expedites.
  • Customer follow ups may be required in order to ensure we are meeting customer needs after original order.
  • Responsible for responding to questions from customers or individuals on how a product operates or directing them to the person that is able to assist.
  • Monitors, expedites and follows up on order changes, specialty and delayed shipment items.
  • Processes credit requests as necessary and applicable, ensuring proper documentation and process has been followed.
  • Utilize client's Parts Oracle System to capture customer information, generate proposals and monitor the order processing.
  • Communicate issues related to product delivery with the customers to ensure accurate and acceptable transaction completion.
  • Work with the Parts Warehouse to monitor the process of orders for shipment.
  • Assist in the maintaining the integrity of customer and transaction data.
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity of information for the Warranty Parts Ordering and Tracking Systems.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple projects and able to flex to the business need based upon additional assignments.
  • Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum 2 years Customer Service Experience
  • Work effectively in diverse team and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities / task in a fast-paced work environment with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, required.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, time management skills.
  • Able to meet short and long term deadlines.
  • Bi-lingual English / Spanish is a plus
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
