Then the Intensive Care Unit at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center wants you!\n\nThe MedStar Montgomery Medical Center is a 120-bed full-service ANCC Magnet-recognized facility located in the historic enclave of Olney Maryland, situated nearly equally between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore Maryland, and is part of the 10-hospital MedStar Health system.\n\nThe 12-bed ICU admits a wide array of patient diagnoses ranging from neuro, cardiac, G.I., renal and vascular ailments, to post-operative procedures. As part of an American Heart Association Gold-Plus Certified Primary Stroke Center, the ICU also manages patients recovering from acute strokes including those who have received thrombolytic therapy. Nurses work 12-hour day or night shifts (non-rotating) and participate in self-scheduling. Average patient-to-nurse assignments are 2 : 1 with a dedicated charge nurse on each shift. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.\n
• Previous ICU experience\n
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.\n\nThis position has a hiring range of $36.00 - $54.97
