About project

We seek a highly skilled and motivated AI / ML Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in transforming 2D X-ray imaging into 3D visualizations akin to CT scans.

You will work closely with our software development, data science, and clinical teams to develop and implement advanced algorithms that convert 2D X-ray images into accurate, detailed 3D models.

Responsibilities

  • Algorithm Development :
  • Design, develop, and optimize algorithms for transforming 2D X-ray images into 3D visualizations.
  • Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques in AI and machine learning.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI models into the imaging pipeline.
  • Software Engineering :
  • Develop robust, scalable, and efficient code for real-time 3D image reconstruction.
  • Work closely with the software engineering team to integrate AI algorithms into our AI-driven medical imaging platform.
  • Ensure the software meets high standards of performance, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Collaboration and Communication :
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including product management and clinical experts, to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Communicate technical progress and challenges to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Quality and Compliance :
  • Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA).
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality assurance and user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in AI and machine learning, with a focus on medical imaging.
  • Proven track record of developing algorithms for 3D reconstruction from 2D images.
  • Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and their application in image processing.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python and C++.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and standards in healthcare is a plus.
