job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCollaborate with physicians to develop and evaluate treatment goals Set realistic, patient-centered goals for therapy and discharge Engage patients and families in care planning Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate documentation per guidelines Complete evaluations, daily notes, family education, and discharge paperwork Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and ethical behavior Maintain confidentiality and follow attendance, dress code, and safety protocols Communicate clearly and professionally with all team members Participating in meetings, training, and process improvement initiatives Create a positive experience for patients and co-workers Follow AIDET communication principles (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) Foster a respectful, collaborative, and supportive team environment Apply service recovery techniques when needed Stay current through continuing education and professional development Maintain licensure and complete required competencies Support onboarding and training of new staff Perform additional responsibilities as assigned Adhere to all Wellstar Health System policies, standards, and code of conduct Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required. Occupational Therapist (OT) License required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from AHA required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Team-oriented and customer service-focused Basic computer proficiency
