We are working to establish a robust and high performing Central Portfolio office and a dedicated PMO delivery function that will be world-class.
The PMO team will oversee the full project life cycle and work closely with the Strategy & Architecture teams to align with the strategic goals of Sanctuary Group.
PMO Delivery Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a PMO Delivery Manager, responsible for managing the development and improvement of the PMO Delivery capability within the Central Technology Portfolio Office, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of high-quality programmes or projects.
The role of PMO Delivery Manager will include :
- Managing the development of delivery-focused PMO capability.
- Overseeing the effective delivery of assurance, governance, quality management, risk management, supplier management, change management, and reporting.
- Overseeing the successful running of the resourcing calendar for all portfolios and projects.
- Providing high-quality management information to all stakeholders for programme or project progress and issues to support ongoing operational planning and delivery, including benefits tracking.
- Identifying and providing recommendations for continuous improvement of PMO.
- Establishing standardised PMO processes.
Skills and Experiences
- Comprehensive experience of managing Project Management Office services for various concurrent medium to large scale projects / portfolios, with an understanding of a full project life cycle and all roles within the PMO.
- Experience in mapping processes and building tools to support PMO activities and deliver business needs, including reviewing and improving.
- Proven experience in working with others to effectively deliver projects, including indirect reports and third-party suppliers.
- Proven experience of managing staff, liaising with senior stakeholders, and relationship building.
