We are seeking a Bridge Engineer to join our Birmingham, AL team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Geometric and structural design of bridges and retaining walls

Review of bridge design calculations and plans

Projects will include prestressed concrete and steel bridges with various types of retaining walls including MSE and soldier piles

Requirements

Minimum requirements :

• BSCE (Masters Structural Preferred)
• 1-5 years of professional experience
• Minimum 1 year experience with Bridge Structures and retaining walls (1 year)
• ALDOT experience preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Technical requirements :

• PE preferred
• Professional Engineer License desired
• Experience with Bluebeam, ProjectWise, and Bentley Engineering software
• Experience with AASHTO LRFD Specifications

Other miscellaneous qualities :

Ability to travel, as required by client. About 20% of the time.
