Job Description
Join our team as a Welder / Fitter, focusing on structural fitting and welding for a major airport project.
- You will be responsible for using 1 / 16th dual shield, interpreting blueprints and structural drawings to layout and fit steel.
- Ensuring all components meet the high standards required for infrastructure integrity.
Hard Skills
- Welding and fitting structural steel
- Interpreting blueprints and structural drawings
- Familiarity with AWS D1.1 and D1.5 standards
Soft Skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong communication skills
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 720 Hour(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Vancouver, Washington.
Work Environment
- Our home shop is located in Vancouver, where we fabricate all steel structural components for field projects.
- The shop supports both local Vancouver / Portland projects and field work, providing a dynamic and supportive environment for professional growth.
