Request for Hourly Editing, Formatting, and Research Services

Overview

Under the Gender Integration Technical Assistance II () Task Order, Banyan Global provides on-demand, rapid-response, short-term technical assistance (STTA) to United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Missions and Operating Units across multiple sectors.

Banyan Global is seeking individuals to deliver services on an hourly basis for editing, branding, marketing, communications, research, and administrative support.

Individuals may be based anywhere with preference to being online during Eastern Standard Time working hours.

Responsibilities

In close coordination with Banyan Global, individuals will deliver the following services towards GITA II product finalization.

Timelines are independent and specific to each product.

• Editing : Edit Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and other materials to improve readability and ensure alignment to and other guidance.
• Branding & Marking : Format Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and other materials to ensure alignment to and other guidance.
• Communications : Review, edit, and format GITA II communication materials, including Mailchimp emails. Provide technology support to online meetings and events.
• Research : Conduct desk research to support GITA II product development.
• Administrative support : Take notes in meetings, review and organize files, and conduct desk research to support GITA II product development and staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of administrative experience in administrative positions, preferably in international development or a relevant field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in editing content to produce easy-to-understand, grammatically correct, and consistent products.
• High level of comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and corresponding Google Apps. Experience with Mailchimp preferred.
• Basic graphic design and formatting experience required.
• Organized with a demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work within deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of USAID branding is advantageous.
• Fluency in English.
