This role is for a Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse with at least two years of recent Level I / II trauma ER experience, working 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced emergency department in Yuma, Arizona. The position requires proficiency in Epic EMR and multiple certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS. The nurse will manage patient care ratios in a 52-bed ED with trauma capabilities for a 13-week travel assignment starting on a fixed date.

11 / 17 Starts Only Start Dates are not flexible. 100-mile radius rule Epic EMR proficiency required and recently used. No 48-hour guarantees. No blocked scheduling requests. No more than 5 days of RTO.

Must have two years ER experience - trauma Level I / II in the past three years. Level III or CAH not acceptable experience

Ratios : 1 : 5 medical, 1 : 6 for fast track. - Trauma Level : Level 3 trauma (ER ran like a level 1), STEMI and Stroke receiving- will ship out if stroke intervention required. - # of Beds / Trauma Bays : 52 with 4 trauma bays. - On average, how many patients do you treat in the ER / day : 200 / day - Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC-preferred - Floating Requirements : Shared schedule with Foothills- typically scheduled ahead of time, infrequent last-minute floating. -15-minute drive to Foothills freestanding ER. - RN must read own tele, also have monitor tech as well.
