Job Description : Earn up to $400,000 per year at Mountain View PM&R. Mountain View is seeking dedicated and passionate Physiatrists to join our dynamic team.
As a Mountain View PM&R Physiatrist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
You will work collaboratively with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Mountain View PM&R specializes in acute and subacute rehabilitation units and facilities.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with diverse rehabilitation needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations, to determine appropriate rehabilitation goals and interventions.
- Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize functional outcomes and promote independence.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and educational activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes and discharge summaries in electronic medical records systems.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding the rehabilitation process,
- expected outcomes, and post-discharge care.
Requirements :
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of ACGME-accredited residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Board certification or eligibility in PM&R.
- Valid medical license in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical skills in the evaluation and management of patients with acute and subacute rehabilitation needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a commitment to professional growth and development.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.
