In this role, you will provide critical support to customers in need of roadside assistance by handling inbound calls and coordinating service providers efficiently. You will use modern dispatch technology to manage requests for tire changes, jump starts, and towing services while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach. The position emphasizes problem-solving, multitasking, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment. Accountabilities

  • Answer inbound calls from members requiring roadside assistance.
  • Ask essential questions to understand each customer’s situation accurately.
  • Use dispatch technology to locate nearby service providers and coordinate assistance.
  • Input and maintain accurate member and service provider information.
  • Apply professional communication and active listening skills to support members effectively.
  • Follow scripts and procedures to handle a variety of scenarios, including de-escalation.
  • Escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all customer account information and adhere to company policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Strong communication skills, with a professional and empathetic phone presence.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple computer applications while typing accurately.
  • Customer-focused attitude and enjoyment in helping others during unexpected situations.
  • Emotional resilience and patience to handle upset or stressed members calmly.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • No previous experience required; training is provided.
