Director of Emergency Services - Healthcare Leadership Opportunity

Position Overview :

The Director of Emergency Services will provide strategic oversight of our Emergency Department operations, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while optimizing departmental performance and staff development. This role combines clinical leadership with operational management to create an environment of clinical excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and develop a high-performing emergency services team while fostering a culture of clinical excellence and accountability
  • Drive quality metrics and patient satisfaction through implementation of evidence-based practices
  • Oversee department operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation standards
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve patient flow and care coordination
  • Manage department financials, including budget planning and performance monitoring
  • Drive innovation in emergency care delivery and service expansion

Required Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of recent acute care ED Director / Manager experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required (BSN preferred)
  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Strong track record of emergency department leadership
  • Excellence in staff development and team building
  • Demonstrated success in quality improvement initiatives

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Emergency Nursing Certification (CEN)
  • Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
