Local Contract Nurse RN - Manager, Ambulatory Care - $50-55 per hour

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Manager, Ambulatory Care for a local contract nursing job in Brooklyn, New York.

Ambulatory Care

WCS Healthcare Partners is working with a large social service agency that supports the homeless and substance abuse populations. We are seeking a qualified RN Nurse Manager to work a full time in Brooklyn, NY. Day Shift.

~Participates in the training of members of the patient care team.

~ Evaluates performance of the Medical Assistant and Registered Nurse.

~ Coordinates requests for medication refills according to Housing Works procedures and protocols.

~ further clinical testing, x-rays) and facilitates communication between physicians and health care providers.

~ Utilizes EMR to document all patient care and medication administration accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with PSI policies and procedures.

Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.

Current registration and active license as a New York State Registered Nurse.

Demonstrated understanding of the needs of clients in treatment for HIV / AIDS and substance abuse.

QHC Management experience preferred.
