Sr. Process Engineer
Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sr. Process Engineer with expertise in fluid flow process design and metallurgy to join our team in the lithium mining sector.
This role will focus on optimizing and developing processes for the extraction and processing of lithium from mineral resources.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles, specifically related to fluid dynamics and metallurgical processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, analyze, and optimize fluid flow processes for lithium extraction and processing operations.
- Implement and refine metallurgical processes to improve product yield and quality.
- Develop and conduct experiments to test process designs and analyze results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and execute process improvement projects.
- Prepare detailed project documentation, including technical reports and process flow diagrams.
- Analyze data from process trials and production to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders summarizing findings and recommendations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 experience in process engineering, preferably within the mining or minerals processing industry.
- Strong knowledge of fluid flow dynamics, separation processes, and metallurgy.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with lithium extraction technologies and associated environmental regulations is a plus.
