WRA is currently seeking qualified Construction Administration / Field Document Control Specialist (Office Engineer) for the statewide remedial bridge repair construction contracts in Baltimore, Maryland.
Essential Functions :
- Check Inspector Daily Reports and follow up with the inspector if corrections are required.
- Verify that all material invoices are provided by the contractor and filed in eMCMS.
- Material Test result documentation is filed in eMCMS.
- Verify that Certified Payroll checks are being made by the inspector.
- Maintaining up to date records and applying for MOT Permits
Experience Requirements : Experience ranges from a minimum of 1 year for a TET Level II to a minimum of 5 years for a TET Level IV.
Familiar with eMCMS. Knowledge of Maryland construction standards and specifications as well as experience with construction contract documentation including Inspector Daily Reports (IDRs) and SHA Force Account Records.
Other Requirements :
- High School Diploma or State Equivalency Certificate
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and personal vehicle for travel to and from assigned construction office
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, & Excel)
- Good communication skills and understanding of office etiquette
- Assigned personnel must also complete OSHA 10-hour training (training paid by WRA)
- Must be willing to work nights and overtime, when required by the project assignment
- Some On-site presence may be required (2-3 days per week)
