Job Title : Special Education Life Skills Trainer (High School Aged) - Contracted Position
Location : Virtual (Remote) in or near Grand Junction, Colorado

Wages : $20-25 / hour based on experience

We are expanding our team to provide individualized, one-on-one life skills training to high school-aged students in a virtual setting.
Job Overview :
We are seeking a Special Education Life Skills Trainer to work virtually with high school-aged students who have intellectual and / or developmental disabilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with full-time jobs looking to supplement their income or for retired teachers who want to continue making a difference in students' lives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide one-on-one virtual life skills training to students with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities.
- Implement personalized training plans to help students build independence and functional life skills.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure continuity and progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working with students with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities, preferably in a special education or life skills training capacity.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with virtual / online teaching platforms.
- Patience, compassion, and a passion for helping students succeed.
Hours & Flexibility :
- Starting at 2 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
- Potential for hours to increase as we receive more student referrals.
