RYVAN Recruiting is looking for a Construction Superintendent who will be responsible for managing key client projects between Tampa and Naples.
The Construction Superintendent will assist the Project Managers with the coordination and completion of multiple Division 5 construction projects with a focus on custom metal fabrication to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and scope as well as assisting in meeting deadlines, assign responsibilities to subcontractors, and monitor and update the progress of the project.
The Superintendent must be able to travel between locations and some overnights may be required. Responsibilities : Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors for the execution of projectsEnsure projects are delivered on-time, within the scope, and within budgetPrepare reports for management regarding the status of a project.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectivesEnsure resource availability and allocationOversee project plans to monitor and track progressManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniquesMeasure project performance using appropriate tools and techniquesReport and escalate to management as neededPerform risk management to minimize project risksEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties / vendorsCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationMeet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements Track project performance and analyze the successful completion of goalsMeet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysisPerform other related duties as assignedDevelop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needsRequirements : 4+ years working experience in project management within the Construction Industry Division 5 - Miscellaneous Metals preferred Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills-Proficient with multi-unit, commercial and residential projectsSolid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office DIRECT HIRE $65-$75k (DOE)
