About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : General Ultrasound

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (09 : 30 - 18 : 00)

Experience : Minimum of two registries in practiced specialties are required as approved by ARDMS.

License : RVT required

Certifications : CPR Certification in American Heart

Must-Have : Proficiency in OB / Abdomen; experience in Vascular and at least one other modality.

Description :

Looking for an experienced ultrasound technologist.

Must be proficient in OB and abdomen ultrasound.

Experience in vascular ultrasound is preferred.

A minimum of two registries, including Abdomen / OB and Vascular, is required.

Echo registry is preferred but not mandatory.

Current CPR certification from an approved provider is required.

Active membership in ARDMS is necessary.

Candidates must possess an Associate degree or be a graduate of an accredited program in allied health with a focus on ultrasonography.

A strong understanding of charting systems, specifically Epic, is important.

Candidates should be prepared for further requirements upon signing the contract.

This position involves working with various patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
