Soliant Education is searching for an Intervention Specialistfor a school in theFairborn, Ohio area! This is a full-time, onsite positionforthe 2024-2025school year!
Position Type : W-2 / Contract
Hours : Full-time On-site
Pay Range : $35-$40 an hour based on experience
Benefits : Medical / Dental / 401k
Grade Level and Setting : Elementary / Self-contained classroom
Details and Responsibilities :
Work with general education teachers and other staff to plan and modify curriculum based on the needs of special education students
Collaborate with parents and staff to ensure each student meets and exceeds goals
Design and implement specialized instruction in 1 on 1, small group and large classroom settings
Develop, implement, and review behavioral plans designed for students
Conduct IEP and referral meetings, conferences, and develop a multidisciplinary approach to the educational enhancement of the student
Maintain ongoing communication with general educators and parents
Create a safe and supportive learning environment for disabled students
Qualifications :
Must be a certified Ohio Intervention Specialist
Master's Degree in Special Education preferred
