Summary
As the Business Development Associate (BDA), you will work closely with the business development team. In this role, the BDA is expected to consistently make outbound calls and emails to generate prequalified leads, as well as to inform and educate prospective clients regarding PharPoints value proposition.
What you will do :
- Cold call prospects via telephone and email.
- Follow up with prospects and answer questions via telephone and email.
- Schedule meetings for Business Development Managers.
- Pursue opportunities for account growth and new business.
- Communicate client's goals and represent the client's interests to the Business Development team.
- Understand company capabilities and services, and effectively communicate these to prospects.
- Assist with the execution of Business Development strategies and initiatives by implementing strategic and creative solutions to increase new business.
- Work with Business Development team members to ensure successful implementation of all sales and marketing initiatives.
- Assist with the development of client presentations as needed.
- Provide KPI reporting and updates on all activity, including status reports on a weekly basis
- Represent PharPoint at industry conferences as requested by management.
- Establish and maintain effective business relationships with clients and co-workers.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Life Science, Business Administration or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales or customer service; experience in a CRO or clinical research environment preferred.
- Knowledgeable of the clinical trials process.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application; Salesforce experience a plus.
- Self motivated, eager, and desire to achieve goals
- Confident and professional phone presence.
- Ability to multi-task and meet changing deadlines and demands.
