Seaport Therapeutics is looking for a thoughtful, collaborative and entrepreneurial Executive Assistant to join our team.
This role will support various executive team members and report directly to our Chief Operating Officer. The ideal individual for this role will leverage a broad range of skills with a high degree of professionalism and discretion while building strong relationships internally and externally.
This is an onsite role four days a week.
Responsibilities :
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to executives including calendar coordination, travel, and expenses.
- Collaborate with other Executive Assistant(s) and Office Coordinator on calendar management, requests, and facilitating events.
Provide back-up coverage as needed.
Manage projects in support of various critical activities and cross-functional teams such as a contracts management system implementation, Seaport’s Culture and Social Committees, recruiting and onboarding new employees, and other ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications :
- At least 5 years of experience supporting senior-level executives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated flexibility and professional maturity to readily understand priorities, handle sensitive / confidential information, and anticipate needs.
- Experience in a start-up environment strongly preferred; biotech / pharma experience will be favorably considered.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver the most critical assignments on time and on budget.
- Must have a positive can do attitude, be a consummate team player, show excellent judgment, and work well independently.
Must have a proactive approach to supporting your executives; reaching out to inquire about needs, and not waiting to be asked.
