Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Lactation Consultant to join our Family Birthing Center. The Consultant will provide essential support, education, and assistance to patients and families regarding breastfeeding.
Responsibilities include helping with lactation establishment, identifying and resolving breastfeeding difficulties, developing individualized care plans, and offering follow-up support in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
The role also involves providing education and information to staff, contributing to policy development, and collaborating with the lactation team.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required
- One (1) year experience as International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
- Current unrestricted license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Current certification as International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
- Multilingual preferred
