Soliant is searching fordedicated special education teachers to join our team in the Niwot, CO areafor the 2024-25 school year.
This is a full-time, onsite role, that involves working with students in a preschool setting.We offer weekly pay, full benefits (including health insurance and 401k contribution), and guaranteed hours with all of our full-time positions!
What You'll Do :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to differentiate instruction and accommodate the needs of students with disabilities
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress towards IEP goals
- Provide instruction to students in a resource, self-contained, or inclusionclassroom setting
What We're Looking For :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid Colorado licensure as a Special Education Teacher-must have Early Childhood Special Educationlicense
- Experience with students who have moderate-severe needs and / or mild-moderate needspreferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in special education preferred
- Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
