Cottonwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a Stellar Senior Living community, located in Laramie, Wyoming is looking for a Restorative Nurse Aide who will support our resident’s ability to attain and maintain their functional abilities and prevent decline.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain accurate restorative nursing progress / documentation records on all residents participating in any restorative program.
• Facilitate the transition of patients from skilled rehabilitation services to restorative programs.
• Notify nursing and / or rehabilitation therapy of residents who may be experiencing a change in their level of functioning.
• May be requested to function as CNA if needed.
• Instructs, motivates, and assists residents to learn and improve functional activities, such as eating, transfer, ambulation, and daily living activities.
• Assist during mealtimes in the dining room.
• Follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
• Follows and upholds policies and procedures of the community facility.
• Answers call-lights per facility policy.
• Transports residents to and from the Restorative program.

Qualifications :

• A current, unencumbered Colorado Certificate of Nurse Aide (CNA).
• Minimum of one year CNA experience.
• Previous Restorative Aide experience preferred.

This job requires restorative aides to stand, walk and use their hands and arms frequently.
