Are you a dedicated and skilled nurse with a passion for providing specialized care to students? We are thrilled to offer a full-time position for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Park Ridge, NJ.

This role is perfect for a compassionate professional eager to make a significant impact in an elementary school setting.

Position : 1 : 1 Nurse (RN or LPN)

Location : Park Ridge, NJ

Type : Full-Time

Dates : September 5, 2024 - June 27, 2025

Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 2 : 15 PM

Caseload : 1 : 1 with Elementary Student

Transportation : Bus riding required in the morning and afternoon

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

• Specialized Care : Provide one-on-one care to an elementary student with severe medical needs, including seizure monitoring, g-tube feedings, suctioning, trach care, toileting / changing, and wheelchair assistance.
• Health Monitoring : Conduct routine health assessments and monitor the students medical condition throughout the school day.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate health records and documentation of the student's medical care.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure the students well-being and implement the medical care plan.
• Transportation : Assist the student with bus transportation in the morning and afternoon.
• Emergency Response : Address any health emergencies promptly and effectively.

Requirements :

• Current RN or LPN Licensure
• Experience with severe medical conditions and specialized care
• Ability to manage complex health needs and implement medical care plans
• Compassionate and attentive to the needs of the student
