Logistics Operator Lead

This position follows a Wednesday through Sunday schedule, with working hours from 9 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM. A competitive shift differential is offered for this schedule.

The Logistics Operator Lead is a key operational leader responsible for overseeing and coordinating all logistics functions, including receiving, receiving inspection, stock rooms, kitting, expediting, and Kanban processes. This role ensures seamless material flow, inventory accuracy, and timely support to production and customer requirements. The Logistics Lead drives continuous improvement, ensures compliance, and fosters cross-functional collaboration to meet business goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate logistics operations across multiple functional areas to support production and customer delivery schedules.
• Manage AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and international shipments, ensuring timely communication and execution.
• Monitor and resolve SAP exceptions, ensuring data integrity and timely closure of open items.
• Track and report daily Fill Rate performance; drive actions to meet service level targets.
• Oversee inventory control activities including cycle counts, stock accuracy, and location management.
• Drive expediting efforts for production shortages, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
• Attend production status meetings and provide timely updates to leadership.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance for domestic and international shipments, including hazardous materials.
• Supervise receiving, sorting, and shipping processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage RMA (Return Material Authorization) and stock return processes for repaired or re-certified materials.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain required certifications (e.g., forklift, order picker).
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics performance and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with regulatory requirements (OSHA, FAA, EPA, etc.).
