This new ICBM program will design, develop, produce, and deploy new payload system suites (reentry vehicles and / or countermeasures).

The key payload attributes include enhancements in accuracy, lethality, and ICBM Reentry System / Reentry Vehicle (RS / RV) interoperable operations.

Program activities will also include the employment of digital acquisitions through the application of digital engineering, agile software development, and open systems architectures.

BAE Systems, under the Integration Support Contract, is looking for an experienced Guidance Navigation Electrical Engineer to assist the customer with developing engineering requirements in support of an advance reentry capabilities program.

Responsibilities include :

  • Provide technical advice to Government leaders and engineers.
  • Support requirements development, analysis of alternatives, verification and validation activities, and milestone preparation.
  • Prepare / review engineering analysis reports and key acquisition documents, including RFP packages.
  • Participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program management reviews, certification working groups, and other technical meetings, as required.
  • Guide and develop more junior engineering team members.

Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status. This position is only located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, due to the special-access classified working environment and is not conducive to regular telework or remote schedules.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

BS / MS in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics. 7 years directly related experience (5 years with MS degree).

At least 3 years progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

The ideal candidate will have most of the following experience :

Experience as an electrical engineer on a missile system or complex weapon system (especially ACAT I program or ICBM-related experience).

Current Secret Clearance or higher.

Knowledge or previous experience with Air Force Operations and acquisition programs.

Previous experience with military weapon systems.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range : $91980 - $156330

Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
