We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Permanent Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and profitability of our company by developing and implementing effective sales strategies across a multi-state territory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales goals. They will be expected to leverage their expertise in B2B sales, account management, and lead generation to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base across the assigned multi-state territory.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing suitable solutions.
  • Identify and pursue potential leads through cold calling, networking, and other prospecting techniques.
  • Utilize your sales 'hunter' skills to secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts by offering innovative and customer-centric products and services.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales results, and market trends to the upper management.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Lead and participate in sales presentations and negotiations with clients.
  • Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, or a similar senior sales role in the Manufacturing industry.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in flexible packaging sales.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful commercial sales strategies.
  • Solid experience in CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular).
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a customer service orientation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a result-driven environment.
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
