Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)

Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology for 13 weeks. CL-only or IR-only staff. state license required. Must be cath lab trainedCompetent in EP or IR is a plussNo IR only or EP only techsPrefer candidates with ability to do at least two roles : could by CL & scrub or monitor, or circulate only in both CL & IRNot likely to hire a nurse or RTR who can only do one role due to associated scheduling constraintsCL : all typical interventional cath lab patients (diagnostic, PCI, rotational atherectomy, shockwave, IABP, Impella, etc.

Structural heart usually handled by a limited group of CL staffIR : Vascular surgeons : peripheral angiography, fistulagrams, tunneled catheter insertions, etc.

Neurosurgeon : elective diagnostic and interventional neuro procedures (angiogram, coiling, carotid stenting, etc.), kyphoplastyRadiologists : tubes & drains, TIPS, embolization, etc.

Required Qualifications

state license required.

Must be cath lab trained

Competent in EP or IR is a pluss

No IR only or EP only techs

Prefer candidates with ability to do at least two roles : could by CL & scrub or monitor, or circulate only in both CL & IR

Not likely to hire a nurse or RTR who can only do one role due to associated scheduling constraints
